About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Twist and Turn

All over the world people are waking up and looking at the past differently.

We are a group of historians, artists, scientists and forensic technologists working in collaboration to shine a light on the unique story of a young woman known simply as the "Bella Addormentata de Tocco".

On a broader scale, we explore new technologies that allow us to examine our relationship to our ancestors in far greater depth than ever before.  We can now “meet” our ancestors in the hope of finding common humanity throughout our interconnected heritage.

Our hope is in undertaking this reconstruction process, we can restore dignity and repatriate remains in rightful resting places whilst leaving a vibrant legacy and cultural heritage for future generations.
